Sports Medicine Facilities
The athletic training department has 5 facilities for Club Sports use. The primary athletic training clinic is located behind the ice rink and is open daily for recovery, evaluations, treatments, and rehabilitation for all club sports athletes. The other facilities include the ice rink clinic, the club sports training complex clinic, the natatorium clinic, and the lacrosse clinic. These facilities are open during limited hours for practice or game days.
Primary Athletic Training Clinic
A new 5,200 square feet primary Athletic Training Clinic was officially opened in January 2025. This clinic is open to all Club Sport Student-Athletes for treatments, rehabilitation, evaluations, and recovery treatments. A staff of 7 Athletic Trainers has offices in this facility. It also features a physician exam room utilized when our team physicians, chiropractor or physical therapist come for campus appointments.
Ice Rink Clinic
The Ice Rink Clinic is a full-service athletic training facility located within the Lahaye Ice Center. This facility provides practice and game day coverage and is equipped for daily care and rehabilitation for the Club Sport’s Ice Hockey teams, Figure Skating, and Synchro teams.
Natatorium Clinic
The Natatorium Clinic is housed within the Liberty University Natatorium located on Liberty Mountain. This facility provides meet day coverage for the Club Sports Men’s Swimming team.
Club Sports Training Complex Clinic
The Club Sports Training Complex Clinic currently acts as the primary athletic training clinic for Club Sports. The clinic is housed within the Liberty Club Sports Complex and is equipped to provide any sports medicine needs for all Club Sports athletes. The sports medicine staff will be available for any Club Sports injury evaluation, care, rehabilitation, and facilitation with doctors and physical therapists as needed.
Lacrosse Clinic
The Lacrosse Clinic is a satellite athletic training room located in the East Campus Field House between the Liberty East Campus Sand Courts and the Lacrosse Field. This facility provides game day care for the Club Sports Men’s Lacrosse team and Beach Volleyball teams.
